I hardly ever take the little bean out to eat at restaurants. It is hard to ask a 21 month old to sit still for an hour in one spot. I was so surprised when today we went out to eat and Zelda not only happily sat in her Meme's lap, but ate, smiled and laughed the entire meal. She surprises me all the time, just when I think I have her figured out she does something totally the opposite of what I was expecting. I'll be convinced she is wary of strangers and then she'll run up to one and ask to be picked up. I thought she loved going grocery shopping with me, turns out she now hates it. What a funny, adorable little lady.
