June has been really fun. Zelda is liking her camp and in the morning we pack her lunch and put some of her favorite toys into her backpack. She likes to tell me what to pack, "grapes, sugar, salt and pennies." After camp we head to the playground and the girls play together. They have a great time.

A lot has changed since I first started Zeldabean. We have a second baby, we live in Brooklyn Heights, I have many more grey hairs, the list could go on and on. It has been a fun way to record our little milestones as a family. But now our family is bigger so we are leaving this zeldabean blog for a bigger even better one. Come join us at little beans in Brooklyn our new blogspot!

Thanks for reading!!

Babies meeting babies, too sweet. Portia has seen Madeline before, but this was the first time they really got to know each other. It looks like they really hit it off doesn't it?

First Chocolate Milk

This little lady was in heaven last week when we stopped at the diner after music class. She carefully dipped her little straw into her cup to sip her, 'chocote milk'. Zelda was so excited. We had to bring it home and she put it on her little table where she looked at it and danced around it for the rest of the day.

There is a great open park near our house. Sometimes we go there and just run around. I keep meaning to bring a ball out with us so we can play soccer or something, but I never remember. So, we just chase each other and sometimes Peter and Zelda race.

to the left, to the left

Portia has torticollis and needs to strengthen her little neck muscles. She is prone to looking to her right which has flattened that side of her head. Peter and I are working with a physical therapist to make sure we exercise her neck correctly and that it gets stronger. When she is sleeping we roll her onto her left and when she is awake we are holding her. She's doing great, she's such a trooper. If someone was constantly moving my head around I would hate it, but she doesn't even cry.
