Lake George

Zelda, Peter, Hugo and I had a special friend stay with us last week. Reeses, is the adorable toy poodle that belongs to my friend, Amanda. We even took him upstate with us to visit friends in beautiful Lake George. It was great fun, it rained a little, but mostly we read books, played with Zelda and even took a boat ride (Reeses and Hugo stayed on dry land for that).

I always have a little anxiety before a trip with her.  I worry that she will be fussy the whole time or that I will forget all her diapers, sometimes I feel like all the extra stuff we have to bring (and Peter has to carry) make our weekend trips away from the city less fun. Have you seen this blog post about travelling with a baby, it does not seem easy?  I was happy to be so wrong. Zelda was really sweet and very social with everyone and it can be really exciting to show her new things. Plus the doggies had a blast! Reeses was so happy!
