Wow. I can't believe it is already August. So far the summer has been filled with..
- rides on the subway shielding Zelda from scary strangers who try to touch the little bean
- HOT summer days with lots of air conditioning
- play dates in Central Park
- meeting friends for lunch in Bryant Park and City Bakery
- old ladies sitting next to us on the M15 bus beaming at the baby
- apologizing to babysitters as they enter the sauna otherwise known as our living room
- slow doggy walks in the middle of the day with Zelda holding the dog leash from her baby bjorn
- leisurely lunches at neighborhood restaurants with my parents
- romantic summer trips, just me and Peter
- picnics in Riverside Park
- weekends in the country
- Peter and Zelda's trips through the cartoon forest (look what they hunt)
Summer plans to look forward to...
- an all girl trip to Atlantic City
- a fun wedding (sans baby) in Jackson Hole
- lots more leisurely lunches and
- pool time in the country with Zelda
