This is Zeldabean sleeping in her little Alma crib next to our bed. Even though this picture is now 7 months old I still get a kick out of looking at it. Not only was she super little and new to the world, but she also fit so easily in our old 400 square ft. studio apartment!
It was nice living in a small space in the beginning. Whenever Zelda cried I was only a few feet away and could pick her up to feed her easily. As she got bigger though it got tough. We needed her to have her own space. We moved her crib from next to our bed to the foyer (which basically meant she slept behind the front door to our apartment). If we had friends over they had to tiptoe in and out of the apartment. Zelda's crib was only a few feet from the buzzer and it seemed to go off all the time!
Looking back I cant believe we lived there for so long. Now Zelda has her very own room. She is far from the front door of the apartment and friends can come and go without tiptoeing.
