The last week has been a whirlwind of nursing, changing diapers, playing kitty with the little bean and swaddling our newborn. Portia has been a sleepy little lady so far and the little bean likes to touch her tiny feet before she goes to bed at night. Having a newborn is a little easier the second time around. I was convinced I had forgotten everything, how to nurse, how to change a teeny, tiny diaper but both Peter and I fell back into the swing of parenting a baby pretty quickly (although we talk often about how nice it would be to have a baby nurse during the first few weeks - we are so tired!).
