I was convinced last Saturday I was going into labor. I had contractions for about 4 hours in the middle of the day and made my sister come over from Queens to stay with Zelda so Peter could pack my hospital bag and time contractions. False alarm, they must have been Braxton Hicks contractions or false labor because ultimately they just went away. Until they came back! Monday morning right after Peter left for work I was again convinced I was having this baby and called home to tell him he had to come home right away! These contractions were all over the place and lasted about 2 hours before they stopped, but they are so painful I couldn't focus on anything else and the little bean got to do whatever she wanted. This picture was taken when I gave her all of our lentils to play with. She had a great time dumping them out on the floor, picking them up one by one and trying to feed them to her stuffed animals. Even after multiple attempts at sweeping them up it feels like they are everywhere! I am really hoping that the next time I have contractions they are the real thing, these fake contractions are turning our house into a mess!
