This little girl is such a great sleeper. Like me she likes to sleep in and doesn't wake up sometimes until 8:30am, even though her bedtime is 7:30pm. When I tell her she needs to get in her crib to sleep she will look at me, shake her head, 'no' and then she will run over to her toys. The little bean will start to grab as many toys as she can and then she starts to throw them into her crib (she hasn't figured out that she can put books through the rails yet). I have to take the toys out as she starts to throw them in, but I let her keep a few of them.
Bedtime is my favorite time with her. I just bought her these pajamas in light blue. We start out with a bath right after dinner and then read books while she sits on her duck potty while she dries off. After lots and lots of reading together we put on pjs and cuddle on her furry, fluffy rug. Then, it's teeth brushing time and finally sleep time. The whole bedtime routine can take two hours if I don't limit the number of books we read to 3 or 4, Zelda always wants to read every book she owns!
I know this routine will change once the new baby comes in October. I'm looking forward to the day when I can tuck two babies in at night together.
