- The closets in your room don't hang clothes so you have to get dressed in the living room.
- The washer and dryer you were so thrilled about having don't work so you send your clothes out to be cleaned and they all come back with permanent marker stains.
- The small holes in your walls were supposed to be painted and when the painters came they used a different color so you had polka dot walls for a little while, then when they came back to fix them they decided to change the color of the entire wall without telling you. Now you have a bedroom that is many shades of blue.
- The living room you were so excited to host a party in had a leak above it and now one entire wall is wet with mold and stripped of its paint (can you tell from the photo above?).
- The little bean refuses to walk on the wood floor because it creaks so she wants you to carry her from room to room.
When all of this happens during your first month in your new house and you still wake up happy every day and excited to live there, you know you really love where you live.
