We did it, we moved! Friday morning the movers came at 8am to the Upper West Side to take all of our stuff to Brooklyn. Everything was gone within a couple of hours and that afternoon we said goodbye to our old apartment and headed to our new house. It has been a chaotic weekend with lots of unpacking and a slightly grumpy little bean. I didn't realize how difficult a new room, new neighborhood, new everything would be for her. She spend the first couple nights refusing to sleep or nap, but our third night in the new place went really well and she slept almost 12 hours (thank goodness). We spent the weekend exploring our new neighborhood while Peter did all the grunt work, schlepping furniture from different places, making trips to IKEA and hanging curtains. He did it all. We are so excited to call this new house our home. I hope to be sharing pictures of the inside soon!
