This morning some of our friends took us to the Children's Museum of Manhattan. There is lots to do there, blocks, slides, interactive exhibits (there is even a mock toilet which I find a little gross). Zelda loved the art space. She immediately sat down to do the art project and didn't get up again until I forced her to see what else there was to do. Todays art project was taking styrofoam peanuts and using them to color and make sculptures. It took the little bean a little while to realize she needed to stick them in the water before they would make marks on her paper, but once she did she got so excited.
Now her first art project is hanging on our fridge. Way to go Zelda!
