My little bean can not have you touch her head. Last weekend I managed to get a barrette into Zelda's hair and it was a big mistake! She didn't notice it at first, but once she did she flipped out. I think she was convinced it was just there to torture her. Now, whenever she hears the word, 'barrette' or sees another little girl with barrettes or pigtails she immediately starts checking her own hair for them. I am so disappointed, they looked so sweet and she finally has enough hair to start wearing them. I learned my lesson though. No more barrettes for Zelda...maybe just pierced ears.
