Well, my little Zelda bean is no longer 100% mine. She now clearly prefers her daddy to her mom. Peter and I both ask for hugs and kisses in the morning and at night. Dad gets a kiss right away (on the lips, it's so sweet!), but then when I ask for one the little bean looks right at me and turns to her dad to kiss him instead. Bedtime used to be cuddle time with mom, I would read her books while she sat in my lap. No more, sorry mom! The little bean only wants to sit with her dad and have him read to her. Even though I do a much better job reading Baby Beluga! It is a little heartbreaking for me, but I am also a bit overcome with joy when she reaches out to her dad for a hug, it is one of the sweetest things.
