I just came across some fun educational toys for wee ones and got kind of excited. I never thought that I would be one of those moms that would buy flash cards for their child. I always assumed that whatever I taught the little bean would come from her own interests, like if she became really excited about grass and flowers outside I would begin to tell her all about the wonder of photosynthesis. I now realize though that Zelda doesn't really seem to be interested in anything beyond spinning the kitchen salad spinner so it may be a little while before I am explaining how plants convert sunlight into energy. I'm thinking these flashcards might be a great buy.
