I have not yet mastered the diaper bag. Since Zelda loves to travel in her boba and is now approaching 19lbs I have a hard time running around NYC with both my little bean, a diaper bag and a purse for me. I refuse to carry a backpack like other practical moms I know and instead end up throwing diapers, bottles, wipes, cheerios, chap stick and many other things into my nearest bag. As a result I have diapers, wipes and cheerios in every bag I own.
One fun mommy blog I read sometimes, Petite Elefant, has a weekly series called, what's in your purse, I love hearing how other moms stay so organized. Before baby whenever I left the house I would say to myself, "wallet, phone, keys" to make sure I had my essentials. Now, I have to say, "wallet, phone, keys, baby, baby glasses, diaper, wipes, bottles, burp cloths, cheerios, boba, pacifiers, tissues..."
